Song Round ("we", "our", "the app") is a music guessing game. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Anonymous authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a temporary user session. No personal information (name, email, phone number) is required to play.
Display name: If you choose to enter a name for multiplayer games, it is stored temporarily in our database for the duration of the game session.
Game data: We store game scores, daily challenge results, and song feedback to provide leaderboards and improve the song catalog.
Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as game type played, number of sessions, and app performance. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Preferences: Game settings (language, game type, year range) are stored locally on your device using browser storage.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.

Game session data is retained for the duration of the game. Daily challenge scores are retained to provide daily leaderboards. Anonymous user sessions may expire automatically. We do not retain any personally identifiable information.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal data to use.
